How to Create a Salesforce Dashboard to Measure Tourial's Impact
This guide will walk you through the process of setting up a dashboard in Salesforce to track and measure the impact of Tourial on your business.
NOTE: Since every MAP/CRM setup is different, these instructions may not be 100% accurate based on the setup of your Salesforce instance.
Step 1: Create a Salesforce Report Type for Tourial Engagement
Before you can create dashboards or reports in Salesforce, you’ll need to create a custom report type or use an existing one to segment and track your Tourial data. Here’s how to get started:
Navigate to Salesforce Reports Log into Salesforce, then go to the Reports tab.
Create a New Report Type
Click New Report Type.
Choose Primary Object: Contacts or Leads (depending on which you use in your sales process).
For the Related Object, choose Activities or Custom Tourial Engagement Data (if you've set up custom fields for Tourial tracking).
Add Custom Fields Ensure you have fields set up for tracking Tourial data such as:
Tourial: Last Tourial Viewed
Tourial: Last Session Date
Tourial: Total Sessions
Tourial: All Tourials Viewed
Tourial: Unique Tourials Viewed You can add these custom fields to your reports to monitor how each contact or lead engages with Tourials.
Create a New Report
Once the report type is created, go to Reports, click on New Report, and choose the custom report type you just created. You can now start building out your report based on Tourial engagement data.
Step 2: Create Reports in Salesforce
